Artificial Intelligence and Non Public Meetings Notice

NOTICE: Pursuant to Chapter 934 – Security of Communications; Surveillance, Florida Statutes, and by this notice, Sarasota County DOES NOT CONSENT to the interception and/or disclosure of its oral, wire, or electronic communications. For clarity, this declaration expressly bars the use of bots, Artificial Intelligence, or similar software to record, transcribe, or monitor such communications during non-public in-person or virtual meetings. Activities conducted contrary to this prohibition may constitute a felony under Chapter 934, implicate Chapter 119 – Public Records, and breach standard County contract clauses (e.g., Records Retention, Audit, Ethics, Compliance, and Civility). Only duly authorized County personnel may grant an exception to this prohibition on a case-by-case basis in accordance with Administrative Directive 06-050.
