Description

Project Overview The project includes the removal of the existing Powhatan Street bridge deck structure at the concrete crossing between Westbrook Drive, and the construction of a new bridge deck. The replacement of the existing deck will include a prestressed beam slab structure. As part of the bridge work, the contractor will be responsible for establishing maintenance of traffic, milling and paving the existing approaches, installing parapets, tying in existing curb and sidewalk, and creating a bike lane with all required signage and marking. No work of any kind is permitted within the stream channel below the bridge deck.
