Architectural and Engineering Services for Aloha Quality Inn Renovation Project

The Housing Authority of Washington County (HAWC) is soliciting proposals from qualified design firms to provide professional design services for modifications and upgrades of the former Aloha Quality Inn in Aloha, OR. The intent of this request for proposals is to obtain the best qualified, responsible architectural firm to provide HAWC with a comprehensive price for design and consultant services required to complete the necessary work related to the transformation of the existing 52-unit hotel into permanent supportive housing, which includes design, bidding and contract administration, as outlined below. The selected design firm will work with HAWC’s development team and its partners to design the modifications and upgrades. The design firm will develop the appropriate plans and specifications for specific scopes of work that will meet the criteria from both a contractual and bidding perspective under the state/county’s Public Works construction delivery method (Design-Bid-Build). HAWC may request the Architect to obtain other consultants to evaluate the building’s condition and provide recommendations on specific building upgrades.
