Regulated Waste Disposal

In the course of normal business operations, the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District "District" generates hazardous, universal, non- hazardous and special wastes. This invitation to bid is intended to provide the necessary labor and materials to safely identify , characterize, profile, package, transport, dispose and/or recycle these materials, as well as protect the environment and the communities the District serves. This invitation to bid is designed to provide specifications and descriptions of services for a requirement contract awarded following an evaluation of the bids received, for an estimated period of two (2) years or until contract funds have been exhausted, whichever comes first. The Contractor shall furnish all necessary and required labor, materials, equipment, supplies, lab analyses, waste and spill management, transportation, recycling and disposal services for hazardous and universal wastes and other wastes, as necessary, generated by the District in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Contract for the prices submitted on the Bid Form. All services performed shall be in compliance with U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Ohio EPA, and U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations. The District generates a variety of routine wastes (as listed in Attachment A).
