Community Sustainability Engagement Programs

The City of Santa Monica, is inviting proposals from qualified persons or firms interested in providing Community Sustainability Engagement Programs to facilitate the adoption of sustainable practices in the community and engage diverse stakeholders to meet the goals set forth in the Santa Monica Sustainable City Plan for an initial term of 1 year with 4 options for renewal of 1 year each, to be exercised at the City’s sole discretion for annual budget not to exceed $148,000.00. The Community Sustainability Engagement Programs will consist of projects and services that provide programming for residents, businesses and students. This will include developing and implementing a business greening program, student greening program, a community sustainability engagement programs, and support the buy local campaign. The consultant will be responsible for developing and implementing programs, producing program materials, convening relevant stakeholder groups and engaging diverse community members in order to achieve the goals established in the Sustainable City Plan.
