The City of Pasadena, California is seeking professional services for Transcriptions Services. The Police Department, Human Resources Department and the City Attorney’s Office in the City of Pasadena conduct various personnel investigations and engage in civil and criminal court proceedings that require recorded interviews. Aside from recorded interviews, recorded evidence such as body worn camera and other video footage is also examined and utilized for investigations and court proceedings. Transcription of audio recordings are required to accurately reflect the gathered recorded evidence. In addition, reading a transcribed interview is much easier and faster than listening to audio, relevant statements can be identified and highlighted for the reader and when received in an electronic format, transcription documents can be searched for certain key words.
