Description
Isle of Wight County, Virginia, shall accept sealed bids until 2:00 pm local time, TUesday, July 6, 2010 for VDOT Certified Inspections for Construction of Route 17 (Carrollton Blvd) Left Turn Lane at Route 659 (Kings Cove Way). IOWC General Services Dept. requires the services of a VDOT Certified Inspector, pre-qualified by VDOT, to perform all necessary inspetions for the construction of the aforementioned project. This project is funded in whole or in part with federal stimulus ARRA funds and will be administered in conformance with VDOT's Locally Administered Projects Manual. Compliance with reporting requirements of ARRA sections 902 and 1515(a) as described by VDOT Special Provision for ARRA reporting is mandatory. There is a DBE goal for this project of 6%. The Preliminary Engineering (PE) phase of this project has been developed utilizing local funds. The Construction (CN) phase was developed under UPC95026, State Project Number 0017-046-594, N501, Federal Project Number ARRA-FS09 (169) as part of the federal stimulus American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
