Description

The City of Manassas is soliciting Bids for the Route 28 Centreville Road Widening Project. This project includes widening Centreville Road approximately seven feet on the northwest side of the roadway. The proposed roadway wil consist of five lanes, two through lanes in each direction and one center lane for left turning movements. On the northwest side of the roadway, proposed curb and gutter, a two foot buffer strip, and a five foot wide sidewalk will replace the existing curb, gutter, sidewalk and buffer strip. Project requires the Contractor to install a conduit system for overhead utility relocation. Contractor will be responsible for the installatin of the conduit system and the City of Manassas, Verizon and Comcast will be responsible for the actual undergrounding of their facilities. This IFB can not be downloaded, interested bidders may obtain the IFB document from the City of Manassas, Purchasing Division at 8500 Public Works Drive, Manassas, VA 20110 by (1) mailing a request along with your two hundred ($200.00) dollars non-refundable deposit, documents will be mailed by first class mail unless overnight delivery is requested and paid by he bidder; (2) pick up the document at the above address along with your two hundred ($200.00) dollars non-refundable deposit.
