Hydropneumatic Pressure Tanks

The City of Tucson intends to establish an annual requirements contract for Hydropneumatic Pressure Tanks, as per the below specifications, to be delivered to the Tucson Water Stores’ storage yard located at 1445 S 11th Ave., Tucson, AZ 85713 and other City of Tucson metropolitan locations as required. It is the vendor’s responsibility for delivery and handling of tanks, tank accessories and all related materials. Prior to transporting and delivering materials to the storage yard, the vendor must provide seven (7) days written notice to the Tucson Water Contract Representative or designee. A Tucson Water representative must be on site at all times for delivery and acceptance. Upon delivery, a Tucson Water representative will inspect all delivered materials for approval or rejection. Rejected materials are not to be stored on Tucson Water property. It will be the vendor’s responsibility to transport rejected items. The tanks will be installed by Tucson Water personnel or by third party Contractors under contract to the City of Tucson. They will be installed at a Tucson Water site and all the accessories such as gauges, air release valve, liquid level control, etc. will be added.
