Description
The City of Jackson is inviting qualified firms to submit proposals for a complete tree inventory and management plan. The tree inventory and management plan shall consider all trees, stumps and potential planting sites in the public rights-of-ways within the City of Jackson. Trees, stumps and potential planting sites located in parks, City-owned parcels or private land are not to be included in the tree inventory and management plan. The City of Jackson maintains approximately 155 centerline miles of roadways. The Michigan Department of Transportation Maintains approximately 8 centerline miles of roadways within the City Limits. The tree inventory and management plans shall include all locations in these rights-of-ways in addition to the border roads of Brown Street and South Street. This project is funded by the USDA Forest Service Urban & Community Forestry Inflation Reduction Act Grant. A copy of the project narrative from the grant application is included in Appendix B. The successful firm shall comply with Grant requirements and Project Narrative.
