(1) Vendor needs to provide federal lobbying services to the government authority located in Charlotte, NC.• Develop and sustain relationships and maintain ongoing communication with the leadership of the majority and minority party in each chamber of the congress.• Develop and sustain relationships with the city’s congressional delegation and assist the delegation in any matter in which the city determines to be in its best interest.• Communicate with the mayor and city council and board, formally or informally as requested, to explain the federal legislative agenda.• Actively identify and notify the city and agency in advance of opportunities for grants and funding for key areas listed above.• Actively monitor and proactively submit to city notification and analysis of proposed executive branch rules, regulations, executive orders, or other actions; legislation under consideration by either chamber of the congress, and other federal developments for the purpose of advising of items that may have a bearing on the cities or policies and programs.• Contact federal agencies on the city's behalf when grant applications are under consideration by such agencies and take whatever steps are necessary to obtain favourable consideration of such applications.• Assist in coordinating with other relevant stakeholders to implement the city’s federal legislative agenda.(2) A non–mandatory pre–bid meeting will be held on July 15, 2026.(3) All question must be submitted no later than July 09, 2026.(4) A contract period will be for one year.
