Per the Consent Decree (CD) entered with the United States Environmental Protection Agency, the County is implementing continuous sanitary sewer assessment and rehabilitation aimed at minimizing</span> <span data-ccp-parastyle=\"Body Text\">sanitary sewer overflows (SSOs). </span><span data-ccp-parastyle=\"Body Text\">Pursuant to</span><span data-ccp-parastyle=\"Body Text\"> this effort, DWM developed the Priority Areas Sewer Assessment and Rehabilitation Program (PASARP) to provide for the identification, delineation, </span><span data-ccp-parastyle=\"Body Text\">prioritization</span><span data-ccp-parastyle=\"Body Text\"> and rehabilitation</span> <span data-ccp-parastyle=\"Body Text\">of</span> <span data-ccp-parastyle=\"Body Text\">priority areas within</span> <span data-ccp-parastyle=\"Body Text\">DWM&rsquo;s WCTS and</span> <span data-ccp-parastyle=\"Body Text\">the</span> <span data-ccp-parastyle=\"Body Text\">Ongoing</span> <span data-ccp-parastyle=\"Body Text\">Sewer</span> <span data-ccp-parastyle=\"Body Text\">Assessment</span> <span data-ccp-parastyle=\"Body Text\">and Rehabilitation Program (OSARP). <span xml:lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"auto\"> OSARP is to provide for the identification, delineation, prioritization, and rehabilitation of the remaining areas within DWM&rsquo;s WCTS as well as the ongoing maintenance of the entire WCTS. This contract will support this effort in two ways. Primarily, this contract is to address urgent sanitary sewer maintenance and rehabilitation needs identified through assessment in the OSARP and the Maintenance Management System (MMS) Program. Secondly, this contract will also be used to perform cleaning on large diameter trunk sewers and provide additional capacity in the WCTS for potential development. </span></span></p>",
