Description
This invitation to quote tasks contractors with constructing a marine artificial reef complex within the Fort Panic Fish/Dive Reef permitted area, funded by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and Walton County. With available funding of $60,000 , contractors must deploy a minimum of twenty-three prefabricated concrete modules to create four patch reefs at depths of 59-62 feet. All artificial reef construction must be completed by August 30, 2024, with the possibility of a short-term time extension under specified conditions. Upon initiation of handling and movement of reef materials, all liability and responsibility fall on the contractor until deployment at the reef site. Additionally, contractors must meet specific experience criteria, including successful completion of a previous artificial reef construction project within the past five years.
