500 Westridge Tenant Improvement Project

The County of Santa Cruz Department of Public Works (County) is soliciting Proposals from qualified professionals to provide architectural engineering consulting services for a South County Service Center located at 500 Westridge Drive, Watsonville, CA. The purpose of this Request for Proposals is to select a qualified architectural engineering team, led by an architect, to prepare plans, specifications, and estimates to enable the relocation of specific County of Santa Cruz departments and operations from disparate properties in the County to the South County Service Center. Services are to include design of building renovations and tenant improvements, assist during the bid period, and perform construction administration services. The building is a 121,491 square foot single story building with a mezzanine. 26,685 square feet is warehouse space that is currently occupied by tenants and not part of the tenant improvement project. The project includes renovations of existing office space to create a public service center and office space for multiple County departments, while also addressing structural, MEP, and ADA upgrades.
