Legacy Annex Tenant Improvements Project, CIP No. 10087

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the CITY OF TUSTIN, as AGENCY invites sealed bids for the LEGACY ANNEX TENANT IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT, CIP NO. 10087 CITY OF TUSTIN, California, as AGENCY, is accepting SEALED PROPOSALS for the above project subject to all conditions outlined in the Bid Package. The work consists of site improvements and modifications to Building A and will include a rework of interior partition walls, new building entry, interior finishes, mechanical and electrical alteration, and building signage. Project schedule: 60 Working Days for construction. Construction cost estimate: $911,000. Mandatory Site Walk and Pre-Bid Meeting: On Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at 9:00 A.M. the Agency will conduct a mandatory pre-bid conference at the job site located at Legacy Annex 15545 Lansdowne Road, Tustin, CA 92782 (meet by Building A). This will be a bidder’s only opportunity to view the interior of the site for bidders to make a thorough inspection and evaluation of the existing site conditions and surrounding area in compliance with the Proposal Provision stipulated in Section C, Proposal. An electronic copy of the Bid Package (including plans, specifications and proposal) is available through OpenGov (formerly ProcureNow). Bid Opening: Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. Sealed bids will be received through OpenGov, online electronic bidding system and original signed and sealed bond at the Office of the City Clerk during normal business hours prior to the Bid Opening at the Office of the City Clerk, 300 Centennial Way, Tustin, California 92780. Bids will be publicly opened at the Bid Opening time stated on OpenGov. Contractor shall possess a valid California Contractor's License, in the classification of “B”. General Prevailing Rate of Wages applicable to the work to be done will be required. Each bid shall be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a cashier's check, certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid amount.
