IFB 2097-02 Wireless Access Points at Four BHA Sites

The Boston Housing Authority, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from Contractors for installation of Wireless Access Points at Four BHA sites. The Project consists of: Reviewing the design documents prepared by BHA, the Contractor shall determine the optimal placement of all equipment and make any necessary field adjustments, as well as procure and install all required equipment across four state-funded developments. The scope of work includes the installation of a total of twenty-three (23) Interior Wireless Access Points (WAPs), four (4) Exterior WAPs, eight (8) Backhaul Antennae, three (3) 24-port Juniper switches, four (5) 48-port Juniper switches, and associated equipment racks, along with all supporting devices, cabinets, cabling, and accessories required for a complete and operational system. This infrastructure will support Wi-Fi internet service in community common areas and management spaces at all four sites.
