(1) Vendor needs to provide tax laws and regulations for public employee compensation and benefits and payments to third parties legal services to the government authority located in San Jose, CA.• Advise the city on state and federal tax laws relating to municipalities and successor agencies as employers and payers, but exclusive of laws dealing with municipal bonds and investments.• This would include (1) advice related to payroll taxes and withholding and reporting requirements; and (2) withholding and reporting requirements for payments made by the city in the course of its business, such as issuance of 1099–Misc forms to independent contractors and payments made to foreign persons.(2) All question must be submitted no later than July 27, 2026.(3) A contract period will be for one year.
