Vendor needs to provide installation of security gate service to the government authority located in St. Thomas, VI.         – To install a security gate along an existing access roadway.– Furnish and install one heavy–duty, galvanized steel double–swing security gate at the roadway entrance. • Six feet in height; • Twenty–two–foot total clear opening; • Two approximately equal gate leaves; • Heavy–duty zinc coated galvanized steel frame; • Zinc coated galvanized chain–link fabric or comparable approved infill; • Heavy–duty zinc coated galvanized gate posts; • Concrete gate–post foundations suitable for the gate size and existing site conditions; • Heavy–duty hinges, braces, latches, stops, and hold–open hardware; • Locking hardware suitable for use with a VIPA–supplied padlock; • Gate leaves capable of opening fully without obstructing the adjacent public roadway; • Positive stops to prevent uncontrolled gate movement; and • Reflective markings on the gate and gate posts.
