WASTEWATER EFFLUENT PUMP STATION

The Work of this Project is defined as the following modifications to the existing Waste Water Treatment Plant. 1. Effluent Pump Station a. Demolishing the effluent wet well center wall and modifying the steel structure supporting the vertical turbine pumps, including temporary shoring of pumps. b. Relocating existing control, instrumentation, and electrical panels and lighting. c. Installing a new steel deck (walkway) extension and railing. d. Installing a new effluent pump and associated discharge piping and appurtenances, including concrete slab for piping supports e. Installing new pump-associated control and electrical panels and integration into existing SCADA. f. Connecting new discharge piping to the existing force main and testing improved facilities. g. Inclusive of any necessary temporary by-pass pumping and piping. h. Coating of Chlorine Contact Chamber and Slide Gate replacement. i. Sample pump and piping replacement. j. Replacement of motorized actuators and effluent diversion valves. k. All associated start-up commissioning and performance testing. l. Necessary environmental protection and site restorations. m. All associated incidental and specific items listed in Section 01200-Measurement and Payment, Contract Specifications, and the Contract Drawings.
