Calibration and Maintenance of Radiological Equipment

M SDH -DRH has approximately 100 meters that must be calibrated on a semi-annual basis. Calibration will be performed on-site using MSDH-DRH's Cs-137 calibration source. Calibration of the Handheld Meters, including but not limited to the following: • Ludlum 14C, Ludlum 2241-3, Ludlum 26, Ludlum 26-1, Ludlum 3, Ludlum 19, ND-2000, RA-500, RADEYE PRDS, Ludlum 25, Portable and Stationary Air Samplers, • Documentation for each meter • Maintenance of the e lectronic equipment log • Maintenance and Calibration of Daily Check Sourc e s • Availability to speak to auditors regarding calibrations , minor repair work on Meters • Provide training on the use, calibration , and repair of high purity germanium (HPGe) gamma spectroscopy equipment. • Provide training and consulting concerning routine sample collection. • Analysis and repair of sample collection equipment. • Review and monitoring of data packages produced by staff.
