Lab Equipment Maintenance and Calibration Services - Revised November 4, 2025

NOTE: On October 20, 2025 there was an error in the administration of the RFP entitled “Lab Equipment Maintenance and Calibration Services (2026-RFP-0041)”. A question was submitted and inadvertently responded to through unofficial channels after the deadline for questions passed. In order to ensure fair competition and transparency, the County voided the RFP. Proposers are encouraged to re-submit their proposals to this RFP. The changes from the original RFP include: • A revised timeline for questions (11/11) and submission (11/17) • The question and answer exchanged via email will be added to the Q&A Section • The Certification Report will be added as “Attachment C - Example of the Fumehood Certification Report” in the Attachment Section This Scope of Work (SOW) outlines the requirements for maintaining laboratory biosafety cabinets, fume hoods, and pipette calibration services for the County of San Mateo, California. The purpose is to ensure that all equipment and laboratory environments operate safely and efficiently. Regular maintenance and calibration are critical for compliance with industry standards and for protecting laboratory personnel. All services must be performed in accordance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations. It is anticipated that the term of the agreement is three years with the option to extend for up to an additional two years.
