LONG-TERM SUSTAINABILITY PLAN SUPPORT CONSULTING

The Town of Manchester will be accepting proposals from qualified individuals or firms to provide assistance to the Town’s Sustainability Commission with the development of a greenhouse gas inventory and an assessment of goals included as part of a draft Long-Term Sustainability Plan (“the Plan”). The Town of Manchester requires the assistance of a sustainability or environmental science consultant that can provide expertise in the calculation of greenhouse gas emission inventories and identification of greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction techniques/strategies and their efficacy. Knowledge of environmental justice and equity and inclusion opportunities is desired. The objective is, at the conclusion of this process, to obtain a greenhouse gas emissions inventory for all major Town operations, with additional calculations of the potential impacts on GHG emissions that specific actions and goals/targets included in the Plan aim to address.
