Washington County Metro Bond NOFA 2020

General work description: This NOFA offers up to $80,000,000 in Metro Affordable Housing Bond Funds for the construction of permanently affordable rental units for a period of 60 years or the purchase and rehabilitation of existing rental units to preserve affordable rental units for a period of 30 years if the project is more than 10 years old, and 60 years if the project is less than 10 years old. The Metro Affordable Housing Bond funds can also be used to create 81 affordable homes for households earning between 61 – 80% of Median Family Income either for homeownership or rental units at this income level. Twenty-five million dollars ($25 million) has been set aside specifically for non-profits that meet the definition of a Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO) and are based in Washington County.
