Real Property Appraisal Services

The Ketchikan Gateway Borough (KGB) Transit Department is soliciting proposals from qualified commercial real estate appraisal firms to perform appraisal services for property the Borough is seeking to acquire adjacent to its current facility to allow for future expansion. Funding for this project is provided through the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Section 5339 grant program. All appraisal work must comply with the Uniform Appraisal Standards for Federal Land Acquisitions (UASFLA), commonly known as the Yellow Book and the Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Policies Act of 1970, as amended. The KGB intends to award two contracts under this RFP. One contract will be for the property appraisal and the second award will be for a review appraisal
