Description
The Juvenile Court is soliciting proposals to provide part-time Medical Services coverage to Juvenile Offenders. These juveniles are housed at the Pierce County Juvenile Court Juvenile Detention Center. The Detention Center has a maximum bed capacity of 107 youth. However, the average daily population is less than 13 youth. The contractor would be required to provide health care and screening on a consistent basis, while arranging for back-up coverage in the event of sickness or vacations. Services involve providing up to four (4) hours of on-site clinic per week that allows at least twice weekly Doctor or Nurse Practitioner’s call to treat ongoing medical concerns.
