Description
Statement of Purpose The Scranton School District (the "District") is soliciting proposals from qualified licensed physicians or physician practices to provide services for students required by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The duties will include, but not be limited to; school-based physicals for students in grades kindergarten (K), one (1), six (6) and eleven (11); oversight of nurses working with medical orders; providing pre-season physicals to athletes participating in sports program; providing on-site physician services for football games at two (2) high schools; advising the nursing staff when medical references are received; providing in-service for nursing staff on current medical issues; providing advice to administration when issues arise having medical implications to staff and/or students.
