Trail Edge Restoration Project

This project will include but is not limited to, sod replacement, concrete work, asphalt, asphalt with concrete headers and base repair. The contractor will be responsible for any repairs needed to return the trail to pre-construction condition. There is a total of approximately 48,352 LF. (16117 SY) Of 6” average depth to cut out and replace. Asphalt surfaces for Trails shall be two inches thick with one and one-fourth inch FDOT Type SP-12.5 asphaltic concrete unless otherwise specified. Subgrade preparation will need to be prepped for optimal water flow control. Backfill and clean up after equipment has caused any damage. All existing pavement, cut or damaged by construction, shall be properly restored at the contractor’s expense. It is the responsibility of the contractor to measure and verify the total area to confirm. A list of GIS coordinates will be provided for the areas of repair. Any areas that are not on this list can also be repaired with PM’s approval.
