The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Lakehurst intends to negotiate and make an award on a sole–source basis with FXC Corporation, CAGE: 52497, for a Fixed–Price contract. This procurement is for a quantity of one (1) Ripcord Release Testers, part number 711–07153, NSN [ phno? redacted ]838 for the Japan Air Self–Defense Force (JASDF) E–2D Hawkeye program. JASDF requires this tester to test the automatic parachute ripcord release for their packed parachutes.The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302–1, 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1) “Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements“ for this action.
