Grades 6-12 Secondary Science Adoption

The Tucson Unified School District is seeking to purchase a grades 6-12 Science core curriculum aligned to the Arizona Science Standards. It is the primary intent of this RFP to acquire an evidence-based core science program that universally develops a strong foundation in scientific literacy skills supported by curriculum and resources. The program must have an instructional approach and resources that address the Arizona Science Standards (AzSS) and be aligned to “A Framework for K-12 Science Education,” which includes the 3 Dimensions of Science Instruction. (National Research Council. (2012). We are seeking to adopt for the following courses: Middle School : 6 th grade (English and Spanish), 7 th grade (English and Spanish), 8 th grade (English and Spanish) High School: Biology (English and Spanish), Chemistry (English and Spanish), Earth and Space (English and Spanish), & Physics (English and Spanish) AP : -AP Chemistry, AP Biology, & AP Environmental Science, AP Physics 1: Algebra-Based, AP Physics 2: Algebra Based, AP Physics C: Electricity and Magnetism, AP Physics C: Mechanics
