Downtown Special Event Organizer - Request for Qualifications

The City of Vista is (City) pleased to announce a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for an exciting opportunity offered within the boundaries of the Central Vista Business Improvement District (Downtown). The purpose of this RFQ is to describe the desired activities and goals of the City, and to solicit Statements of Qualifications (SOQ's) from event organizers interested in organizing a series of events in Downtown during the calendar year 2025 and possibly 2026. Prospective event organizers are invited to submit a SOQ to the City expressing their interest in organizing events and background information on their qualifications and comparable experience. After the RFQ selection process, the City may proceed with the negotiation and execution of a contract for services with the selected event organizer. The City seeks to increase the number of events in Downtown during calendar year 2025 and beyond, with a goal of entering into a contract for services with an event organizer in early 2025.
