Integrated Workplace Management System for the Real Estate Department

The City of Tampa is seeking better tools to implement and manage its land use strategy. The current software that the Tampa Real Estate Department (RED) uses does not provide the key functionalities required of both the RED staff and the City for its strategic decision making and reporting purposes. The requested/proposed database system, a project and document management system, a portal and overall integration with other Citywide systems, is important to help RED optimize or maximize its functionality and enable the City overall to achieve its goals. The City desires to obtain a combination of service and products: Professional services elaborated upon below, for the implementation, adoption and training of staff, plus ongoing technical support. The company shall be qualified and experienced in the industry and propose best practices currently being used by Government Agencies. A commercial-off-the shelf software package that has been developed by third party software firms with substantial functionality with minimal development, modifications, or enhancements to the software package. The preferred System shall be Web Based utilizing no, or very limited number of, browser Plug-ins or additional software besides the web browser (e.g. Java) on City desktops and preferably also have a mobile app for use on iOS and Android devices. The City prefers a hosted solution and Proposers are to propose a Software as a Services (SaaS) model.
