Irrigation Central Control Installation
City of Manhattan Beach / Public Works
Description
The City of Manhattan Beach maintains 21 irrigation controllers throughout multiple city parks and streetscapes. Each park and streetscape offers unique irrigation challenges. The irrigation system is made up of a combination of stand-alone and central irrigation controllers. Existing irrigation controllers are conventionally wired and are a mix of different manufacturers. The technology used to program and manage the existing controllers is outdated and obsolete. With improvements in technology, the City of Manhattan Beach now seeks to retrofit the existing irrigation system and migrate to a cloud based smart controller irrigation system which includes 10 years of service and warranty through the irrigation controller manufacturer’s authorized distributor. The City of Manhattan Beach (“City”) invites sealed proposals from qualified contractors on the project described herein to be submitted via the City’s e-Procurement Portal, OpenGov. Proposals will be received until 'Proposal Submission Time on 'Proposal Submission Date .
