(1) Vendor needs to provide general counsel and solicitor service to the government authority located in Camden, NJ– Provides general legal advice and representation to the county municipal utilities authority, board of commissioners, its administration, departments and divisions.– Provide accurate, timely, useful and reliable legal advice protecting from loss and risk and assisting in making effective decisions among lawful alternatives.– Provide services such as review and preparation of legal documents. – Including resolutions, contracts, legal memoranda, legal briefs and other legal documents as may be required; advise and represent the board in a wide variety of contractual, employment and labor, financial, regulatory and transactional matters; attend meetings of the board; related duties.(2) The contract period will be for one year.
