PROFESSIONAL CONSULTANT SERVICES FOR CONSTRUCTION INSPECTION SERVICES

The City of Moreno Valley seeks the submission of proposals to provide construction inspection services for the Land Development Division from any and all interested and qualified proposers. The Land Development Division (LDD) oversees the design review and construction of private development projects. Construction activities involve grading, erosion control, drainage and street improvements, traffic control, and water quality BMPs. Inspection shall effectively and efficiently ensure that all work complies with the approved construction documents and applicable codes and regulations. This request is to extend the existing City staff inspection capacity in response to the increase in development activities in the City. The requested services will be on an as needed basis as determined by the City, and the expected number of hours needed are between 20 and 50 hours per week. It is the City’s intent to award the top-rated firm a service contract which is through the end of Fiscal Year 2024/2025 and may be extended up to four years at the City’s option. The City is experiencing substantial growth in all sectors of development; commercial, industrial, and residential. Therefore, the Land Development Division in the Public Works Department needs consultant construction inspection services to assist with the inspection workload.
