Airport Terminal Advertising Concession

The Hilton Head Island Airport is seeking qualified airport advertising concession firms through the Request for Proposal (RFP) process to submit proposals for the comprehensive management, marketing, operation, and maintenance of the terminal advertising program, which includes digital displays, marketing software, and ongoing business plan development. Hilton Head Island Airport aims to increase revenues by enhancing its advertising program. This involves ensuring that the program's design aligns seamlessly with the airport's overall aesthetics and reflects the unique characteristics of the surrounding region it serves. The selected firm will coordinate all phases of the advertising concession program at the airport including but not limited to: Formulate comprehensive business strategy to align with organizational objectives. Develop detailed marketing and sales plan, including target audience identification and distribution strategies. Provide recommendations for innovative advertising assets to enhance brand visibility. Manage sales of advertising space, including contract negotiations and client relations. Manage the design, production, and installation of advertising displays across both physical and digital platforms. Ensure smooth operation of digital displays by providing and maintaining software access. Generate and analyze monthly reports to track advertising effectiveness and inform future strategies. Provide the Hilton Head Island Airport with monthly reports as requested. At Hilton Head Island Airport's sole discretion, provide the airport with a list of available inventory that can be incorporated into a “trade for space” program to enhance the airport’s position within the Hilton Head Island community. The contract should include opportunities for the airport to trade “open” and not contracted in terminal advertising space for community partnership opportunities at the discretion of the Airports Director. This endeavor extends the opportunity for non-exclusive rights and entails complete accountability for the design, fabrication, installation, operation, maintenance, and commercialization of advertising space across the airport premises. The awarded firm will also assume responsibility for the management of the advertising program, which involves steering its strategic direction and day-to-day functions at its own expense. Per the RFP requirements, submissions will be accepted from experienced firms with a demonstrated track record in managing airport terminal advertising programs, along with proficiency in digital display management, marketing software utilization, and continuous business plan refinement. The selected firm must exhibit the capability to meet industry standards in all aspects of the advertising program's operation while ensuring compliance with pertinent regulations and guidelines. Firms must meet the minimum qualifications listed in Attachment A in order to be qualified to submit a proposal for this RFP. The contract award shall be for a three (3) year period that may be renewed for one (1) additional three (3) year period.
