RFP Strategic Advisor

The City of Santa Monica, (referred to hereafter as “the City”) is inviting proposals from qualified persons or firms interested in providing strategic advice and communications regarding potential ballot measures. Specifically, the Santa Monica City Council seeks to place one or more revenue measures on the March and/or November 2024 ballot and may consider additional ballot measures for future ballots. For general tax measures, the City may consider accompanying the ballot measure(s) with advisory measure(s) allowing voters to express preferences regarding how the revenue should be used (should voters approve the proposed measure). In addition, the City may propose special tax measures such as parcel taxes.
