Description
The County of Sacramento Department of Animal Care Services (ACS) is seeking qualifications from veterinarians to provide relief veterinary services on an on-call (as-needed) basis. ACS employs three full-time veterinarians and seven registered veterinary technicians (RVT). When a veterinarian is absent, ACS has a need for contract veterinarians to perform spay/neuter surgeries, medical diagnostics and treatments. This is a Request for Qualifications (RFQ), only for Licensed Veterinarians. Services are to be provided in the COUNTY’S animal shelter at 3839 Bradshaw Road, Sacramento, California and other sites in the General Sacramento County Area.
