Spherical or cylindrical pellets with a 50/50 blend of potassium permanganate based media and virgin bituminous activated carbon. Pellets are formed from a combination of powdered activated alumina and binders specifically impregnated with potassium permanganate. These are mixed with porous cylindrical pellets of high grade bituminous activated carbon.
