24-280-RFP Low Voltage Wiring and Installation Services (On-Call)

The Greater Orlando Aviation Authority (the “Aviation Authority”) is soliciting interested parties to perform Low Voltage Cabling Installation Services, Testing, and Repair Services on an on-call basis at the Orlando International Airport and the Orlando Executive Airport . The primary objective of this ongoing need for low voltage and wiring installation services for installing low voltage voice and data wiring, conduit and rack pathways, related electrical power distribution to IT equipment, and any other necessary components for a complete Premise Distribution System (“PDS”), and Outside Plant (“OSP”) backbone cabling and pathways system, serving complete voice, video, surveillance, access control, and data, wireless and cellular and other similar cabling subsystems on an “as needed” basis Qualified candidates for this solicitation must not only have expertise in low voltage cabling but also be licensed master electricians, as required by applicable regulations. This licensing ensures that the individuals or Contractors possess the necessary skills, knowledge, and adherence to safety standards to carry out the installation, testing, and repair services in compliance with industry regulations. The inclusion of licensed professionals will contribute to the overall effectiveness and reliability of the low voltage cabling infrastructure, meeting the Aviation Authority's standards for quality and safety. The Aviation Authority intends to select multiple Respondent(s) that it deems to be the most highly qualified, responsible, and responsive to the Aviation Authority to perform the required services after considering the evaluation criteria, in its exclusive discretion. The Contract period will be for sixty (60) months with the Contract to commence on or about September 1, 2024 .
