Description of Project: This scope of this project covers the general requirements for the inspection, testing, treatment, and reinforcing of wood utility poles within the City of Palo Alto Utilities’ service area. This IFB is intended for the inspection and supplemental treatment of wood poles. Poles from 0‑9 years old will only be visually inspected and reported if visual inspection warrants no further action. All poles 10 years and older are to be inspected both above and below the groundline area. This project is scheduled to start April 1, 2022 and end on March 31, 2025.
