Professional Geotechnical, Material Testing and Construction Inspection Services (City Project Nos. 801 0101, 801 0110, 804 0015)

Description

The City of Moreno Valley desires to select one firm through this RFP process to perform professional geotechnical, material testing and construction inspection services for three (3) construction projects: Citywide Pavement Rehabilitation Program FY 23/24 (Project No. 801 0101), Pavement Rehabilitation for Various Streets (CDBG FY 23/24) (Project No. 801 0110) and Sunnymead MDP Line B-16A (Project No. 804 0015). The Citywide Pavement Rehabilitation Project provides pavement rehabilitation and preservation for approximately 135 local and arterial streets. The Pavement Rehabilitation for Various Streets (CDBG FY 23/24) consists of the construction of approximately 1,400 linear feet of 24" RCP mainline storm drain connecting to an existing storm drain line on Day Street, construction of a new asphalt road on Brill Road and street improvements for fifteen (15) local streets. The Sunnymead MDP Line B-16A Project consists of the construction of approximately 2,500 linear feet of a 24" RCP mainline storm drain connecting to an existing storm drain line on Kitching Street, termination on Kalmia Avenue and the construction of a new asphalt road on Kitching Street. The selected Consultant will be required to have personnel available for assignments to these projects who have successfully provided professional services as it relates to all activities of public works construction. The selected Consultant shall provide geotechnical, material testing and inspection services with personnel trained and experienced in geotechnical and construction inspection work for the construction of public works improvements and particularly the types of construction required for these projects. You are hereby invited to submit a proposal for providing professional consultant geotechnical, material testing and construction inspection services including, but not limited to: Contract Documents review, performing compaction testing on subgrade, pipe bedding, trench backfill, pavement restoration related to storm drain installation, production testing of slurry seal, HMA/ARHM and PCC and preparing daily field reports. Each bidder is hereby informed that proposals and its contents are subject to disclosure in accordance with the California Public Records Act (California Government Code Sections 7920 et seq.).
