AC150 (Capital Asset)/Movable Asset Implementation in Oracle Fixed Asset in e-Business Suite (EBS)
Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission, MD / Information Technology Department
Description
The Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission, MD (the "WSSC"), is soliciting sealed responses for Project Title . Responses are to be submitted via WSSC's eProcurement Portal via https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/wsscwater PRIOR TO Response Submission Time on Response Submission Date . Late responses will not be accepted. Project work includes Oracle Fixed Asset Consultant/Professional Services. The Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSSC) seeks quotes from qualified firms to support the migration of two legacy mainframe applications, AC150 (Fixed Asset) and Movable Asset, into the Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Fixed Assets Module. The primary objective is to consolidate these separate systems into a unified platform, enhancing operational efficiency, streamlining asset management processes, and reducing overall costs for WSSC. This initiative aims to modernize asset tracking, improve data accuracy, and ensure compliance with financial reporting standards for fixed assets, including infrastructure, water and sewer pipes, water meters, and movable assets, such as vehicles and equipment. The project involves implementing the Oracle EBS Fixed Assets Module, migrating historical data from the AC150 and Movable Asset systems, customizing the process to allocate values to future fixed asset additions, and enabling functionalities for creating, updating, and reporting on asset information. Details will be provided in a separate document. The solution must integrate seamlessly with WSSC’s existing Oracle EBS environment and related modules (e.g., General Ledger) and interface via flat files with other WSSC systems, such as asset data from the Engineering and Construction team, Work and Asset Management (WAM), Dossier, and Customer-to-Meter (C2M). The vendor will deliver a secure, scalable, and user-friendly system that supports WSSC’s operational and financial needs, with comprehensive training and post-implementation support to ensure a smooth transition. This Statement of Work (SOW) defines the project’s scope, objectives, and key deliverables to guide vendors in preparing their proposals. The selected vendor must adhere to Oracle best practices, ensure data integrity during migration and interfacing, and provide a solution that enhances WSSC’s ability to manage its assets effectively.
