(1) Vendor needs to provide budget analyst services.• Assists in the preparation of the annual operating and capital budgets and budget document.• Monitors actual expenditures and revenues compared to budget projections on a regular basis.• Analyzes various budgetary and financial issues and recommends alternative approaches as requested by departments, management and elected officials.• Advises departments and independent agencies in achieving budgetary control and resolving budget problems.• Monitors and reviews capital and grant program budgets during the program period and at fiscal year–end in order to continue budget authorizations from one fiscal year to the next.• Reviews and authorizes budget transfers for compliance with control procedures.• Prepares and updates descriptions of departmental services and programs and works with departments to allocate costs to the various services and programs.(2) This is not RFP; this is job posting.
