THE UNITED REPUBLIC OF TANZANIA MINISTRY OF EDUCATION, SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY DAR ES SALAAM INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY Specific Procurement Notice Request for Bids Goods Bid No. TR249/DIT/P163399/2025/2026/G/02 FOR SUPPLY, INSTALLATION AND COMMISSIONING OF ICT EQUIPMENT UNDER RAFIC PROJECT Project: EAST AFRICA SKILLS FOR TRANSFORMATION AND REGIONAL INTEGRATION PROJECT (EASTRIP) Employer: DAR ES SALAAM INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY Country: TANZANIA Loan no : IDA-63330 The DAR ES SALAAM INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY has received a Loan from The World Bank towards the cost of EAST AFRICA SKILLS FOR TRANSFORMATION AND REGIONAL INTEGRATION PROJECT (EASTRIP) and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this Loan to cover eligible payments under the contract for TZ-DIT-DAR-534748-GO-RFQ Supply, Installation and Commissioning of ICT Equipment under RAFIC Project The DAR ES SALAAM INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY now invites bids for Supply, Installation And Commissioning of ICT Equipment Under RAFIC Project . This Invitation for bid follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) for this Project which appeared in the National e- Procurement System of Tanzania (NeST) dated 11/06/2026. Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Tendering (Donor Funded) using Request for Bids (RfB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” fourth edition, November 2020 as well as the Public Procurement Act, CAP 410, and is open to all Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations. A complete set of bidding document(s) in English may be accessed through NeST freely. Bidders are required to register through NeST and pay the bid participation fees indicated in the NeST (https://nest.go.tz/nest tenderer/wallet/tender-charges) to be able to participate in this Bidding process. Tenderers are required to register on the NeST and pay the tender participation fee indicated in the NeST to be able to participate in this tendering process. NeST payment user guide is made available in the NeST dashboard. Bids must be submitted electronically through NeST on or before 10:00 AM hours local time on 10/07/2026. Bid(s) will be opened promptly thereafter through NeST. Bid opening details will be available through NeST. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security in the form of Tender Security - Bank Guarantee in the currency of The Tanzanian Shilling or freely convertible currencies in case of foreign Tenderers worth 15,000,000.00. Bids not received or opened through NeST shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
