Multigenerational Community Resource Center - Design Services

The City of Surprise is partnering with Maricopa County to construct a state of the art estimated 38,000 sq. ft. Multigenerational Community Resource Center to serve the Northwest Valley. The vision behind this project is to relocate programs and services currently limited by space in the Surprise Resource Center, Hollyhock Library and Surprise Senior Center and move them into this new centralized location. The new Multigenerational Community Resource Center will serve as a long-term investment into Surprise’s economic resiliency and community well-being, increasing opportunities for prevention and mitigation programs and services. Residents will enjoy more space and programming, specifically for seniors, adults with disabilities and youth. There will be growth for library patrons and services, expansion of offerings for community groups, clubs and non-profit organizations, along with after school and summer youth programming. There is also the possibility of additional Head Start programs and more open space for recreating and connecting.
