Rehabilitate the Air Traffic Control Tower HVAC Systems at Eugene F. Kranz Toledo Express Airport

The project consists of the replacement of existing HVAC systems serving the Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) at Eugene F. Kranz Toledo Express Airport (TOL). This project is structured as a Base Bid with a Bid Alternate. For the Base Bid, the project scope generally includes the demolition, removal, and installation of rooftop units, air handling units, condensing units, ductwork, air distribution devices, refrigerant piping, and controls. The installed HVAC systems are to be complete with humidification. For the Bid Alternate No. 1, the project scope generally includes the demolition and removal of the ductwork serving the 2nd Floor of the ATCT and installation of new ductwork and VAV systems. The engineer’s opinion of probable cost for this project is approximately $1,330,000.00 for the base bid and $410,000.00 for the bid alternate no. 1.
