(1) Vendor needs to provide special event transportation management plan services to the government authority located in Columbus, OH.• Assess the ability to safely and efficiently transport high volumes of attendees to and from designated venues using a variety of transportation modes.• Create data–driven solutions to improve traffic circulation, enhance pedestrian safety, and maximize the effectiveness of parking and ride–share operations.• Develop a comprehensive plan that delivers practical recommendations and a phased implementation strategy based on transportation modelling, analysis and stakeholder input.• Develop an approach to data collection including minimum coverage of single–venue events across attendance tiers and documented concurrent multi–venue activations.• Analyze the existing flow of pedestrians, micromobility users, multimodal and rideshare options within the core study area to and from the major events. The consultant shall evaluate the existing paths and space within the study area that can be optimized for these users.• Gather parking data from garages and surface lots within the study area for major events.• Develop a transportation demand management strategy to manage vehicle demand during major events and mitigate stress on the traffic management system, including measures to promote transit, active transportation, and shared mobility as practical alternatives for accessing major events.(2) All question must be submitted no later than July 31, 2026.(3) A contract period will be for one year.
