The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Portland District has a requirement for an FOB destination supply procurement of a commercial 20-ton refrigerated closed-loop water chiller system for a large transformer. The requirement includes associated 3-inch diameter piping, valving, a fused disconnect, and a 480V Panelboard with breakers. The system is intended to support transformer cooling water operations during reservoir drawdown at Lookout Point Powerhouse in Lane County, Oregon. This is a pre-solicitation notice indicating that a solicitation for a competitive acquisition for the award of one firm-fixed-price contract is intended to be issued via Contract Opportunities at SAM.gov in approximately 1 day or less. This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. Quotes will be due approximately 10 days from the date the solicitation is issued, however, the 10-day time frame is estimated and subject to change.
