The base period of performance will be from August 1, 2026, through October 31, 2026. The contract will include two (2) 3-month option periods. FAR Clause 52.217-8 will be included in the event additional time is required for the VISN IDIQ contract. Any delay in supplying these medical gases could negatively impact the operations of the healthcare system. General Distributing Co., a small business, has been providing the required supplies via an emergency bridge contract. To avoid any disruption during the ongoing VISN IDIQ litigation, another short-term contract is necessary to ensure the ongoing supply to the Montana VA Health Care System from the current vendor.
