Special Notice Special Notice Page 3 of 3 Special Notice *= Required Field Special Notice Page 1 of 3 In accordance with FAR 538.7104-3 this Notice of Intent is to inform all parties the Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 19 located at 6162 South Willow Drive Suite 300, Greenwood Village, CO 80111 intends to award a sole source procurement for the following requirement to The Regents of The University of Colorado, 13001 E 17th Pl STE F428, Aurora, CO 80045. GRECC 23rd Annual Conference Contractor will provide services for the annual Rocky Mountain Geriatric Conference for VISN 19, Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center Geriatric Research, Education, and Clinical Center in accordance with the statement of work at 1700 N. Wheeling Street, Aurora, CO 80045. The associated North America Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 561920 and the Business Size Standard is $20 Million. Required Salient Characteristics OR SOW Requirements: Enhance Perioperative Care for Older Adults: Increase understanding of the unique challenges in perioperative care for older adults, including age-friendly practices and geriatric specific health needs. Identify the Hazards of Hospitalization for Older Adults: Identify the potential risks of hospitalization for older adults and strategize methods of preventing and managing them in an age-friendly framework. Foster Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Promote effective collaboration across healthcare disciplines, focusing on shared decision-making and co-management in hospital and perioperative care settings. Explore Policy and Advocacy Efforts: Discuss the latest policies and initiatives, including CMS age-friendly measures and local aging masterplans. Identify ways to leverage the policy to improve care for older hospitalized patients. Align Treatment with Patient Goals: Equip participants to better align treatment decisions with patients individual health goals and priorities. Support Multidisciplinary CME: Provide valuable educational content for healthcare providers to earn CME credits while enhancing skills to address specific needs of geriatric patients. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement no later than 4:30 PM Central Standard Time, Monday, August 3, 2026. Information received in response to this notice must clearly demonstrate the capability of meeting the Government s need as stated above. Include any relevant information (specifications, cut sheets, brochures, capability statement, etc.) confirming the ability to supply the products and/or any services outlined in this notice. Responses to this notice are to be sent to Phoebe.Farmer@va.gov. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government is not responsible for any potential costs incurred from interested parties desiring to respond to this notice.
